Volleyball South Africa

Website development and corporate identity design

Volleyball South Africa (VSA) is the governing body of volleyball within South Africa. The overall aim of this campaign is to promote volleyball and ensure that the sport grows to rank high among the other popular sports in South Africa.

Project Detail

Volleyball South Africa required a website that is news orientated with an additional functionality of registering volleyball teams and players across all 9 provinces in South Africa. The website had to be easily maneuverable and any relevant information around the development and engagement of the sport had to be readily available.

We were placed with a daunting task but we were able to go one step further.

We developed a website with a league and tournament management system that is capable of not only storing a database of registered players and teams, but also displays the information in a visually appealing manner. The league and tournament management system gives visitors access to results in real time with automated league table and tournament bracket calculations.

The league and tournament management features are summarised as follows;

  • Real time league standing calculations
  • Personalised player and team profiles
  • Automated game statistics display
  • Displays information such as venue, team lineup and highlights

The website also features an interactive blog for volleyball related news as well as access to information regarding engagement. Blog articles are easily shared across multiple social media platforms.
